Weekly Lesson Plan Schedule #6 May 18 - May 22

This is the Weekly Planning Schedule for the week of May 18th. It is set up like lesson plans for a substitute teacher. It is very user friendly. Lessons contain pages from the 3rd Blizzard Bag (listed below) as well as links to on-line lessons. For the on-line lessons, Just click the blue link from the schedule to take you right to the websites. Please know that this is just a suggestion and does not need to be followed exactly. Final blizzard bag are for our final 4 weeks of school. The packet is arrange to go along with a weekly calendar that is posted my Monday morning of each week.

2nd Blizzard Bag

The 2nd Blizzard Bag is for an additional 3 weeks of learning. Week of April 6th-9th. Off for Springbreak, then April 13- April 30th. You May print from home or pick up at the Vincent office Monday, April 6th from 8-9:30. Just know we are all in this together. Please be checking your Dojo App daily for school and class stories in addition to individual messages. Please feel free to contact your 1st grade teacher through Dojo with any questions. We miss each and every one of our students and can not wait to see them back at Vincent!

Scholastic
This is a wonderful site for your child to practice and enrich their reading and ELA skills. It has stories to independently read or stories that can be read to you as well as extension activities that can accompany the story.

Freckle
This is an amazing site that we would like students to use if they have internet access. It allows them to work on math and ELA skills and also allows the teacher to monitor their students' progress.

epic
This is a wonderful site with many stories for students to read or have read to them. Your child will need a class code before using that you can get from their teacher.

AR Quiz Site
This is the site where your child can take AR quizzes over books or stories they have read.

Phonics Dance
This is a great site for your child to see and hear the creator of the Phonics Dance singing and dancing to the "Hunks and Chunks"

How to Draw Art Site
Here is a fun site where your child can get step-by-step instructions on how to draw many different items.

Famous People Read Alouds
Here is a fantastic site where your child can hear different famous people read stories aloud.
