Clearview Local Schools Evaluation System
In the 2013-14 school year, Clearview Local Schools will be fully implementing the new evaluation system.
 
Use the forms and appendix located to the right throughout the school year for submission and resources. Editable forms will be made available throughout the school year as they are created.

SLO Review Documents

We understand that the SLO process can be frustrating. Here are some documents that have been created by us or provided from the state to assist in this. The guidelines that were given to the committee were to verify that the SLO aligns with the checklist provided by the state. Please reference that as you work to complete your SLO. 
This template has the necessary checkboxes that that should be addressed in each area. It is formatted to have page breaks for ease of approving.

What's Next?

Next Step for Teachers:

At this time all teachers should start to be evaluated. Appendix A should be used to for the pre-conference. You may elect to have a face to face, written or video submission answering these questions. The evaluators request having the questions answered to address information that will not be seeing in the observation. Teachers then should fill out Form B, stating strengths and weaknesses. Please make sure that your weaknesses are stated as SMART goals. You will also have to address on this form what student growth measures you will be using and at what percentage. This form will need to be sent to your evaluator prior to your post-conference.

Update: 8/27/13
All teachers should have already submitted their Form W, stating who they are interested in having as their evaluator. Form W should have been submitted via scanned email as to date and time stamp the form. The Professional Growth Team will meet to sort these forms and assign the evaluators with the groups they will be evaluating for the year.
